shareNot bush, merkin. The canadian bluray showed full-frontal with merkin pretty clearly. I heard the american bluray was censored/cut but don't know if that was one of the censored scenes.

shareAbsurd ? Why ? Here is a woman who walk toward and man because she wants have sex with him, in real life she does that naked, so it is in the movie. It's just realistic and 100% relevant, and why not show it while the violence is so explicit ?

I read the book this movie is based on and in the book Maggie also goes to Forrest stark naked after the part where he watches her sleep. Except in the book she rolls over and pulls back the sheets to invite him into bed, but he still leaves. It also says in the book that he would watch her sleep a lot. Sometimes standing there all night. And when she does go to him she makes a point to kiss the scar on his neck. So all in all, that whole scene was played out even less overtly than it could have been.
