Love this movie ...

For many months I refused to watch this movie because of all the negative comments I heard when it first came out ... Then it was on and I couldn't find my remote ... I watched for the 5th time this morning ... I should lose my remote more often ... lol .

Good story. 😊

Well that's proof you never listen to critics. I love this movie too, being a western fan in general.

reply

Yeah, great popcorn movie and a lot of fun.

The train action piece (with the music) is fantastic. Loved it.

reply

One of the best scenes in years.

reply

Yup. Train robbery with William Tell music was the best action sequence in all movies till date.

reply

Agreed, was expecting rubbish but I loved it!

reply

Yeah, I had a ton of fun with it! They don't make them that much anymore so anything to do with the western genre I take notice.
It's a bit overlong and ott, but once again a ton of fun.
The action, the score, the locations, and that duck foot joke always makes me laugh!
A perfect weekend matinee movie.

I also like the movie very much :).

But there is one scene that I feel "bad" after finish watching the movie.
It's the scene while the Comanche people is being killed yet I laughed when Tonto is helping John and the "kerosene" scenes :(.

I'm not an American, so I feel "lucky" as I don't need to think or question (because I can;t) on how the Lone Ranger story suppose to be ? how the Tonto character suppose to be ? does it match with the original Lone Ranger story ? etc ... so I can just enjoyed the movie as it is. It;s a very entertaining movie for me and the music score is amazing :).
