* The bloated running time for an action-adventure Western.
* Armie Hamner really doesn't have much onscreen presence for a title character / superhero.
* The film is very Johnny Depp-heavy. If you don't like seeing his usual "covered in prosthetics, goofy humour" performance, this movie isn't for you.

Side note: I actually enjoyed the film. I thought it was beautifully filmed and the acting didn't bother me. The running time was inexcusable, though.

You hit the nail on the head pretty much. It was drawn out too much and Hammer who.....don't know how anybody can't enjoy Depp. He is awesome.

Also had a hint of wild wild west, that left a real bad taste in everyones mouth.

The 2nd and 3rd things go together. The movie focused so much on Depp that Hammer got undercut, even though he played the title character.
