Giovanni Ribisi
Jonah Hill did a decent job in this, but I couldn't help think how good Giovanni Ribisi would've been in his role. Guy's awesome in every thing he does and can play the nerdy sidekick so well.

That said, Ribisi probably would've nailed it, and would have had a chance to outdo Hill. So, I think you're mostly right, although I did really love Hill's portrayal of the character.
Cool man, yeah, I had no problem with JH in this role and think it's one of his best performances to date. Even his look suited the part. I just like GR a lot more and haven't seen him not nail any role he's played thus far - one of the most underrated actors IMO.
shareI agree with that. Ribisi is one of those actors who is bafflingly un-famous. He should be known world-over as one of the great character actors. He just never got that "it" role that made him ubiquitous. I think it's 'cause he's not a clear leading man, but he also never managed to get in with an auteur. Like, if he had synced up with the Coen Brothers, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, or somebody like that, he'd be up for Oscars and stuff. As is, he's turning in better-than-the-script performances in stuff like Avatar.
