Was It Me, Or Did The 'Blood' Look Like Cherry Icee?

I liked the movie for what it was, but did the blood look like Cherry Icee slush or was it just me? Especially when it started flooding the laundry room. Aside from that, I enjoyed it - not as good as Part 2 which I really liked, but anything is better than the horrid original, which sucked!

the blood pissed me off, because it was bright red like paint.....ridiculous

Edward Cullen: Are you afraid?
Isabella Swan: I'm only afraid of losing you.

Exactly!!! I was like WTF with the blood and said it looks exactly as you called it like bright red paint. This ruined the atmosphere of the movie for me and the "Boogeyman" as well, I couldn't stop laughing at points. I think only 2% of the blood looked real at times and the rest was almost dream-like. I mean there are ways to do this if you don't got the budget like put in a red filter or something to darken the blood.

Ohhhh. Was that suppose to be blood?, i thought it was just excess amounts of red paint for no apparent reason.

I'm sure the budget was pretty low and they did what they could...the scene called for a laundry room filling up with blood & they delivered...could've been done better, but likely with more money!

The CGI blood spurting out at first distracted me more...and once it was ON the floor (when Boogeyman appears), it looked like the real deal, but yeah, it did look like Cherry Slushee as it was coming out.
