Not released in theaters in Scandinavia

And I know why. I'm Scandinavian and I simply don't get the appeal for these muppets. What's with Americans and puppets anyway? They're boring to look at but a few of them are funny to listen to like Jeff Dunham's puppets.

Well, it did get a theatrical release over here and the original Muppet show was _extremely_ popular here in its heydays as well, so your post falls rather flat on its face there, I have to say :/

I see your name is Icelander, so I assume you're from Iceland? Anyway, Iceland is not Scandinavia. And it was just announced it's not gonna be released in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

what about finland

reply

I don't know about Finland, it just said Scandinavia.

even though you dont like muppets... are the rest of us allowed to enjoy them? it's done will in australia, rave reviews in the uk, mexico, israel... many countries... not just the US

Somebody90 don't speak for all of us.
Here in Sweden The Muppets were wildly popular in the 70s/early 80s. I don't think it has sustained in the mind of people enough to warrant a theater-release though.

No harm though since this movie didn't have much of the humor that I find funny from the original Muppet Show and Muppets Tonight. It was more of a drama than a comedy for me.

Instead of funny bits with Beaker, Sam the Eagle, The Chef, Pigs in Space, and most of all Lew Zeeland (the best name of a character there ever has been), I got stupid musical numbers with synchronized dancing.

That's pure bullcrap.

I gave it 4/10.
