Spring Break

Wow what school did Amy Adams' character Mary work at that gave the kids 2 weeks off for Spring Break? Real life schools they are should be one week for Spring Break in the United States, or 5 days excluding the weekends. For sure her character did not work at a High School, but would you have liked to have had 2 weeks off for Spring Break instead of 1. With the amount of time off for Spring Break seems to remind you of what schools give for Winter Break instead of Spring Break. But would you have like to have gone to a school like the one in the movie, and get 2 weeks off for Spring Break, instead of 1 week? Why or why not but I know for sure that it sounded like the kids were disappointed with having that lengeth or time off. I have to assume that they like the school and like learning even from their teacher.

I definitely remember a schedule revision movement going on when I was near the end of elementary school and since there was so little difference between the options they were considering they decided to poll the kids for some insight to what we wanted. I believe one of the option involved a two week Spring Break while shortening summer vacation by quite a bit. I believe that was the least popular option. Also, she's clearly teaching an elementary level class in the film, despite showing them how to fix cars.
