Too many sexual jokes?

I thought this was a great movie...a different sort of comedy unlike what we are used to seeing. It didn't go all out trying to make us laugh with every line but made us feel about Sandler's real life problems off the stage too.

What ruined it for me were the constant sexual jokes being thrown at us. I mean once or twice it's fine but if you keep throwing jokes about balls, d1cks and tits, it ain't funny anymore. F-bombs being thrown around everywhere to the point where you don't care anymore.

Anybody ever noticed that every stand-up performace in this movie only had nothing but sexual jokes? I mean what happened to the normal jokes like we have so often seen in Jim Carrey movies or Robin Williams stand-up acts?

I think this could of been an exceptional movie with a lot of heart had they cut down on the forced sexual jokes. What do ya guys think?

it bugs me as well when comedies that have potential as heartfelt dramas get too raunchy. this is no exception either.

Movies don't seem to know how to be risque anymore without using an overabundance of profanity to generate favor among young people. I try to look past it if I can, but this particular movie is the most ostentatious comedy I've ever watched. In addition to that, Adam Sandler's use of mock voicing and caricature is widely overused. He does it so often in his career that it's just trite and humorless now. I really kept feeling as though Sandler made this movie for himself, that nothing else mattered but what made him laugh and what he wanted to hear.
