That this movie was entirely too long? I feel like they forgot to hire any editors and did not make any cuts to scenes and every second of film that was shot wound up in the finished product. I also am baffled by the number of genital-jokes by Sandler's character

Exactly. It was not a bad film, but it could have been trimmed.

The movie should have been an hour and a half rather than two and a half hours long. The material just wasn't good enough for the two and half hour running time.

It was quite long but that I feel is a minor quibble as it was punctuated with very funny moments.
