Do movie stars really get all that free stuff
I'm wondering how realistic that scene is when he has a garage full of free TVs, clothes and sports equipment that he all got for free.

Sadly yes, especially for being on TV shows and award shows, let alone products that are sent in the mail to them hoping they talk about it or wear it.

They get bombarded with free goodies. Just google "celebrity gift bags" for a taste of what stars get at high end award shows, like the Oscars (they are worth tens of thousands of dollars).
Apart from gift bags and other swag - which is standard for practically any function a celeb attends - other companies send celebrities items in the hopes to land endorsements.
