my only complaint...

Some stand-up comedy jokes hit, some missed, but it seemed that in this movie universe, every single joke hit. Everyone just seemed to universally love every one of George's jokes. A lot of people find Adam Sandler's comedies kind of cheap and juvenile, and if George wanted to be bought back down to Earth and was tired of all the praise from people, he could have easily logged onto rottentomateos.

I didn't find Daisy's stand-up bit that funny either and found it wierd that everyone was laughing.

I just watched it with the commentary by Apatow, Sandler, and Rogen and Apatow said something like they wanted to tone down some of the standup comedy so that the movie's actual jokes would seem funnier and that many of the jokes were written on the spot, like right before the take. Also, Aubrey Plaza (Daisy) had never done stand up before and was asked to improvise.
