When we first experince the doctor, Ira and Gerorge are having a go at him for his accent.
Ira makes a (terrible) joke about IKEA.
But, the doctor is clearly speaking with a heavy german accent. Is the idea to make Ira look like he's dumb or is it just typical American ignorance from the writers?

Its like how Britain and Europe view America... Or even Asia. Stereotypes are Universal, don't be a fool

Most of the jokes they threw at him were simply bad pieces of writing...."James Bond villain"....yikes.
