Sandler should do more roles like this

I thought Adam Sandler was great in this movie. He was totally believable as George Simmons. Sandlers performance delivered the perfect balance between being funny and dramatic and proved that Sandler is capable of more than he is given credit for. I for one respect him as an actor,sure alot of his work is stupid but i have heard that he is hillarious and a very nice person. Its nice to see him do dramatic work like Reign Over Me, Punch- Drunk Love and this. He should really accept more roles like this since he nailed it and would be the perfect guy for it.

Yes he should totally stop with the comedy and become a serious actor and win an oscar someday but that will likely never happen.

No one is saying he should get an Oscar but he's great in movies when he does some acting and comedy like the Wedding Singer, 50 first dates, Spanglish and this. At this point those are the roles I wanna see him in or even stuff like Click.
