I agree. Does this woman even age? She looks the same as she did when she was doing Living Single with Queen Latifah in the 1990's.

I just saw the film tonight, it finally opened here in Chicago. Erika Alexander is the anchor in this film. She really makes it shine, and keeps the story as it unfolds in perspective. She calls Che on every ignorant, arrogant thing he does. And when she needs to she tells him that she is done. A great performance that unfortunately will not be recognized during Oscar time.

Hey, I recognized her from when she played "Cousin Pam" on THE COSBY SHOW - and we all know how long ago THAT was! Still looks the same!

Erika was indeed excellent. She held Che and Jesse together.

A lot of cultures represented in the film.

I want to see this movie because she's in it. But I don't even know if it will get/has got a release here in Ireland. She's a great actress and sometimes under used and under rated.

I like her in this movie. She is not only beautiful and posed, her portrayal of a strong, courageous woman even in the face of violence is wonderul. There aren't many people who would jump into the middle of a fight, especially within a family, but she does it without appearing overbearing or self-righteous at all.
