video shop guy recommended me to take a look, saying it had the makings of some kind of cult movie.

Movie was mostly fun, I enjoyed the part where she's tied to the bumper. Maybe it mixes genres like horror/thriller in some weird way and plays with the horror "formula"... ?

I don't really know what constitutes a "cult' film, I guess it's a spin on an old formula, then maybe yes.

Oh I don't know, but this was definitely a cut above other recent flicks.

Any movie that came out in 2009 is not yet a cult film.

HAHA... cult film this? Dunno but seriously doubt it. However if we´re talkin a cult for the main actress´s butt, then yes I´d say so.
