Wasn't there a movie like this in mid-90's?

And no, I'm not talking about 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', it was about a girl and her friends at spring break in Ft Lauderdale and they have a couple of drinks and hit a homeless guy with a car and try to cover it up? I remember there was a scene where they were nervous about explaining to the glass shop how they broke the windshield in the rental car. Anyone?

They did a story like this in one of the creep shows, it was also an urban legend where i grew near Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I personally found it to be really stupid, and i am also sick of everyone using Bi-Polar as a form of being a complete psycho.

Anyway, the creepshow version was more entertaining...

Dead Man's Curve??

reply

there was a story a few years ago about a woman tripping on acid ran over a homeless man and left him to slowly bleed to death in her windshield.

Dead man's Curve? Are you serious? That's not even about a hit and run.

I know that movie, 3 girls into a red car in palm beach. One girl dies on a swimming pool doing a dead jump, the other girl is a lawer and says who was driving because she don't want to loose her career, and the last one girl is a reporter at local station. Great Movie but I can't remember the name.

Dead Silence
Renee Estevez was in it (Charlie Sheen/Emilio Estevez's sister)

Dead Silence (not the James Wan one) and Creepshow 2 come to mind.

Yeah I think you definitely mean "Dead Silence" which was made in 1991 for TV.

Lisanne Falk (from Heathers) is also in it.

Carrie Mitchum plays a girl who works as a weather girl for a local TV station I think the charcters name was Sunny.

The plotline was extremely similar, and the three girls in dead Silence also took the car to a garage to cover up the damage done when they hit the guy.

They discuss whether to give themselves up and how Lisanne's character will react to what she did. I think she panics and that's when she jumps off the roof into the swimming pool.

That movie stayed with me for ages, I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I saw "dead silence" (the one from the 90s), it wasn't bad either. It had three girls, though, who participated in the hit and run, not one.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

The others are right. It's "Dead Silence", the TV movie with the girls out partying and hitting a guy they leave for dead.

But, the person "attached" to the car immediately brings to mind that "CSI: Las Vegas" episode. In that case, he crashed through the windshield and was sort of hanging there. They told the driver later that, if he had called for help, he might have received some leniency. As I recall, he left the man in the garage to die, not knowing that the victim managed to make a phonecall before he died. When I read the cable guide description, "CSI" definitely came to mind, and I wondered if that was where the inspiration came from. I don't recall the title unfortunately. Maybe I can track that down.
