anyone else forgot they were watching a Bourne movie at times?

different actor, different style, different music. Then a random character from the other films shows up and you're like "oh right, this is supposed to be a Bourne movie". Even "Extreme Way" seems to come out of nowhere and seems like it's in the wrong film. Anyone else agree?

Also, Ed Norton can't play a hard-ass boss if his life depended on it. Worst part of the film imo...

Yeah, the whole time I felt like I watching some generic action film.
Had nothing to do with Bourne.
So bored.

I actually think how they continued the series without Bourne was fantastic. Where the film faltered for me was the final act. Which despite being the most action heavy was also the least exciting portion of the film.

I'm always perplexed when action franchises, remove everything but the most crass elements, but get roughly the same box-office and ratings on IMDB.

Think Underworld 1 vs Underworld 4
Jason Bourne vs Reboot Bourne
Armageddon vs Tranformers

Reminds me that the audience are mostly idiotic teenage boys.
