So you kill off one set of superagents, but leave another set?

How does killing off all of the Outcome agents solve anything, when there are LARX agents out there? This is beyond moronic. "Gee if they find out about Treadstone, and Blackbriar, they'll find out about Outcome, too. But they'll never, ever find out about LARX." Yeah, great logic there, buddy.

Same with the prior 3 programs, they tell the senate or oversight committee or whoever approves these programs they are something else entirely. Vosen told the senate guys that Blackbriar was setup purely to catch Bourne, which we all know it wasn't.

Point that thing at me again and I'll shoot you with it

Oh, yeah, that's right. Kinda forgot about that! But it seems like you ought to be able to reassign the agents, no? I don't think Aaron even knew what program he was working for.

Yeah let's pull another program out of the hat! I think the albeit thin justification is that the LARX program hasn't been discovered and their agents are completely compliant and responsive to Agency demands.🐭

Well, the LARX agents were heavily brainwashed and FAR less likely to go rogue. That's what they meant by 'Treadstone without the inconsistency, Outcome without the emotional noise'.

Treadstone agents underwent some amount of behavior modification to make them prepared to kill in cold blood without hesitation, but sometimes this programming failed (as it did with Bourne).

Outcome agents had genetic modifications to be stronger, smarter and faster than most people, but there was no brainwashing component to them and so they could feel severe guilt over their actions which could lead to them refusing to follow orders (as we see with Cross in the flashback between him and Byer).

LARX agents are both genetically enhanced (like Outcome) and brainwashed (like Treadstone, but much better).

Great Job explaining this. Thank you :)

AKA American Politics. The CIA has been training plenty of "enemies" of the future. Unlike the movies however, the agency wins, every time.
