This is not a Bourne Film.
I even couldn't watch it.
Terminator shares the same fate.

Many, myself included, LIKE references to previous films, if they are in a series. This wasn't REALLY a Jason Bourne film, so maybe it's not such a bad idea to either "catch" people up who HAVE watched the previous films, or just entertain those who haven't, with a little "extra".
I don't think "referencing" Pamela Landy and what she could do, in the way of exposing those who are breaking the law, was such a bad idea. It's puts things into perspective.

Agreed. It simply wouldn't have been a Bourne Universe film if they hadn't referenced the earlier films especially Ultimatum, as it's happening roughly around the same time.🐭
