I know he and Rachel did a lot of their stunts, but I think I recall from the commentary, that there was "face-replacement" in few cases. Some stunts would be just too risky for your bread and butter performers.

Yeah, there were a couple that looked crazy. But he outdone what most actors would normally attempt themselves...very physical performance.
