^ I don't know if it's "bad" that you're extremely paranoid - but it certainly is pointless. Yeah, guess what, someone could just come into your movie theater and mow everyone down and there really isn't much you can do about it. You could be walking down the street and some random guy could just decide to shoot you in the head. Again, nothing you can do about it. The chances of any of this ever happening? Extremely rare. And there is probably a 99% chance it won't happen to you. But it has happened, and it CAN happen.
But to worry about these kind of frivolous things is pointless, because the chance of it actually happening is so small, and if it does happen then there is just nothing you can do about it. Hell, anytime you leave your house there is a chance of something bad happening to you. You could get into a fatal car accident that isn't even your fault. So you're left with two options: stay inside your house all the time, afraid of what may happen to you if you leave, or go outside and take a minute risk of something bad happening to you. But then again, something could still happen to you if you stay inside your house... someone could break in and harm you, you could choke to death on a pretzel, etc etc.
The point that I'm trying to make is stop worrying about stupid scenarios that have a .1% chance of actually happening. There's nothing you can do about it. If today is your day to go, then that's just how it's going to be.
