Fear and Loathing reference?
Did anyone else catch at the beginning when Rango was bouncing off of cars he landed on the convertible from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, along with the 2 main characters inside? Best part of the movie!

shareThat's what I just came over here to look for, but it wasnt referenced. Also Rango's appearance matches that of the character Johnny Depp played in that movie. If you look at the cover art, they have the same bend in the neck and it even references "bug-eyed"
shareI was hoping someone noticed that too, it's also my favorite scene. Also Rango wears the Hawaiin shirt like Raul. I'm assuming this animated film is suppose to be a spaghetti western. I never finished watching this film, I feel asleep half way through it. Not because it wasn't entertaining but I was tired and it didn't keep my attention. But I'll retry finishing it in the future.
shareYup, that's the only reason I watched the movie. I heard about the Hunter S. Thompson references.
shareYes I noticed that immediately.
Boom.
