Sarah and Billy

Yeah. That was a little messed up after thinking about stuff. Sarah looked like she was about somewhere between 8 and 11 in the opening/flashback scene and Billy looked to be between 20 and 25. Things must've been A LOT different back then though. Shoot. They were already trying to force Winnie into getting married and I think it was said she was only 16 in that opening/flashback scene. And with Winnie only being 16 also, that also means the kiss between Winnie and Billy was messed up as well. Unless Billy was younger than he looked. I know when I graduated from high school, some classmates already looked 30. So maybe Billy really was about the same age as Winnie but didn't look it. But with no age being specified when it comes to Billy, I'm just going to go with what I think based on physical appearance and assume he is somewhere between 20 and 25 years old. But the opening is set in the 1600's, so that means it wasn't the U.S. yet and the constitution and U.S. laws hadn't been made yet including 18 being the legal age for stuff. It was still 100 years away. So as messed up as things are, it was acceptable back then. I guess you could say everyone was running amok back then and probably what led to the legal age being 18. But still, they should've kept the legal age in mind when making the movie, especially when this is a kids' movie/family movie. Of course, Hollywood is filled with pedos, so they probably thought it was okay making the choices they did when making the movie. Maybe this is why we don't need flashbacks or prequels/origins either. Hocus Pocus 2's opening kind of ruins the first movie now. When watching the first movie, I thought all three sisters were close in age. Like only only a year age difference between the oldest and second oldest, and then a year age difference between the second and third oldest. But no. There seems to be like 5+ year age difference between Winnie and Sarah. Plus Billy appears older than I originally thought.
