Diversity everywhere!!! Yawn.

All characters are now PoC, which has become officially trite these days. I’m actually shocked they didn’t recast the Sanderson sisters or have some spell go haywire and switch their races once they appeared again.

Disney should just officially change their name to Diversity. But makes you wonder why they didn’t do it before it became “trendy” a few years ago. Up until then they were happy as hell keeping everyone white.

They still try to hide black actors on posters for films going to China though.

Diversity is the future...embrace it.

It is getting old everytime theres a group of friends in these shows or movies theres always 1 of each race, white, black, asian, indian etc. its so obvious, they go down the check list before casting to make sure each slots filled for the diversity quota.

They only audition certain parts for certain races, guarantee they'd never even consider a white person for the lead role or a black person for the Izzy role, cause those slots are predetermined to be those races to go down the check list. Its not about whos the best actor for the job its about the color of their skin for pure diversity.

Diversity is nice but I agree you could tell that they tried so hard to overrepresent. Literally every single other character besides the Sanderson sisters had to be a person of color. DEI is a good thing but when you could tell if they overinflate, Disney is just showing that they are caving in way too much to the pressure of not being passed off as racist.
