I like jackie

I just started season seven, so I've seen a lot of Jackie's lows, and one thing that stands out is the reaction of people to her, and how realistic she is. I doubt they made this character thinking people would just fall in love with her. Yes, she has done some pretty crappy stuff, but if she didn't, people would complain about how drug addiction is painted like it's not a big deal. This show has not strayed away from being about an addict dealing with the choices she makes and how it affects everyone around her. I buy her daughters attitude and addictive personality, I buy Kevin divorcing her and being angry, I buy her close work friends feeling let down over her, and I buy into eddies enabling. One thing I will say is Jackies heart is in the right place with her patients and she has an excellent bedside manner. I am amazed at how beautifully Edie Falco portrayed this character.
