Jackie is no supernurse

That would redeem her, in a way, for all her crookedness. But the other nurses are all good too! Just because Jackie breaks rules (most of which are there for good reason) to help patients, does not make up for the fact that she is just a terrible, selfish human being who ruins the lives of everyone who trusts her. The final straw for me is her betrayal of Slater at the start of season 4. I'm done with this show, because I'd only continue watching it if everyone stopped kissing her disgusting, old, ugly, charmless butt, and realized what a selfish loser she was, and she was fired, lost her kids, and ended up having to wait tables in a diner,or better yet die on the streets as an addict or go to prison, but that won't happen. Why everyone lets her get away with murder is beyond me. Great acting by Falco, but bad writing, sorry.

I think she portrayed Jackie as an amazing nurse

She nearly killed 3 patients as I can remember, because she's so self-obsessed. When has Sam or Thor or even Zoe come close to that record? She is also arbitrary, picking which patients deserve better treatment than others based on whether she happens to like them, not their need for urgent care. That's not in the Hippocratic oath! Everything is about her need to feel like a great nurse, instead of actually being one. The show tries to make us assume she's a supernurse without showing how much better she is than everyone else on that floor.

She sold Slater down the river to save herself. She no sooner comes back from rehab and the guy is giving her Fentanyl patches? No way she could stay clean around him. At least she warned him so he didn't get arrested.

By your logic, she should have sold Eddie and O'Hara down the river a long time ago, since they were bigger enablers. No she sid not betray Slater to stay sober; she betrayed him because he had the goods on her and she could not manipulate him. She's disgusting!

I am only into season 4, but so far I see nothing that would make her a "great nurse". I see her being a great bitch, and doing things that would have made her great if she was a social worker, but not much of a "great nurse". In fact, she spent most of her time on camera at lunch, in the bathroom, etc.
