what happened to momo mohammed? he was only in the first season, right?

According to this article from 2010, Momo was cut from the show due to the emergence/development of Dr. O'Hara as Jackie's best friend.

There was also a scene shot in which Momo's exit was explained away as his leaving the hospital to work at a specialist's office for three times the money he was making at All Saints.

I liked Momo too. He was a great character.

Also what happened to Sam? He was in about 4 seasons wasn't he.

Yeah, talk about a bummer. I liked him. He was briefly mentioned in season two--just the obvious; that he was gone--and I'm pretty sure, nothing after that.

I would not trade MoMo for OHara ever, but I resent that things came down to the two.
Then they both were gone!
