Has anyone else noticed how often Dr. Roman's ears get bright red in some scenes? SO DISTRACTING!

I noticed it, too. The actress has a strange face, and in particular the mouth has something weird, the way she smiles and moves the lips.

I noticed it once. I thought maybe she just had her ears pierced.

Actually, that may be the case. After reading the thread I caught myself observing her ears. In the beginning it seems that she was wearing clip on diamond studs. Later on it is clear that she is wearing earrings for pierced ears.
