I wonder how long time wise it was between then not hitting Everest to coming outside on the ship? Seemed like the russian twins werent that upset about their dad dying. I know they for some reason put the date to 0001 though even though its a 'new world' even the where they are heading didnt even flood what just wasnt maybe now 2013?

To me, the date they had on the screen wasn't clear. Were they saying it was 27th day of month 1 of the second year? Have they been closed up over a year or about 2 months? (Assuming I'm remembering the numbers correctly.)
