How do the trans community feel about this movie
I wonder
shareThey secretly love it.
shareProbably not real good, I can't find it under any lists of LGBT films. Not that I look at these very often but for example, on some apps, there's a list of LGBT films to choose from and I've never seen this movie on any of those lists.
Although, the film is not exactly about transgenderism. In fact, the synopsis of this movie on IMDB and MC is not even correct in my opinion. This movie is about forced feminization. Which is a rather critical detail about the movie that is not in the summary. I saw this a while back and thought it was pretty good. I'd give it a 7.1 out of 10.
However, as an LGBT film, I doubt I would give it this kind of rating, not that I watch LGBT films that often but fans of LGBT movies would probably not like it because most of them don't think they were forced into their lifestyle, but if you can get passed this part of the movie, it's actually pretty good.
Forced feminization is a porn genre pretty popular with trans women for obvious reasons.
shareIt's not mainstream porn, it's more like a subgenre of BDSM. I seriously doubt transgender women watch that stuff. Some might view it but I would say it's more of a fetish that's only viewed a niche group that get off on crossdressing and genderbending.
Again, this is probably why this movie is not on any LGBT lists. They would probably find it offensive, and therefore, it would get cancelled immediately by LGBT fans.
Oh, fictionmania is very popular among transwomen and is mainly filled with forced feminization stories. I don't necessarily mean porn videos. Also this movie gets posted often on underground trans spaces.
shareI think the keyword here is "underground". I'll take your word for it because I don't follow LGBT films that closely but "underground" would imply that not very many people are watching it. I mean, if you took 1000 transgender females, I would guess less than 50 have seen this film or keep up with stories about someone being forced to change their gender. lol
Again, I don't really see how this would interest someone that has gender dysphoria.
I meant underground as in this is not addmitted publicly because of harmfully weaponized stuff like agp but I think most transwomen have these kinks. It also makes sense to me: https://medium.com/@kemenatan/its-just-a-fetish-right-91cb0a4e261
shareWTF is an LGBT film?
It's Pat (1994) ? They should put that in their LGBT film list pipe and smoke it.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or what?
But yeah, I suppose there is no clear definition of an LGBT film but if you look at apps like Netflix or Hulu etc...et.. they have listings and one of them is LGBT. These movies feature lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) characters.
Example...
That movie 'But I'm a Cheerleader' is considered an LGBT movie. Hilarious film too, I do recommend it for just about anyone even if you're not into "lgbt" movies.
Everything about it was designed to make you deal scared or uncomfortable from the start.
