What's bugging me and what they could have done against it!

So we're supposed to accept that the cycle goes on endlessly.

Ok, but when Jess is on the cruise ship she only has a feeling of a deja-vu but no exact memories of being there before.

When she starts the loop at the end of the film she now seems to "know" and I don't think the sequence of actions could be the same in the next cycle. Think of all the surprise elements on the ship!

Or are we supposed to assume that Jess is breaking the circle this time? But then the reference to Sisyphus seems wrong.

On the other hand I don't think it's shown in the film that at one point Jess loses her memories of what happened in the last circle and then starts all over again.

However, it could have been so easy with only a little change of the plot:
Whenever Jess fights her double, the abusive mother, this second Jess wins the fight, kills the intruding Jess and dumps her body. That way the only Jess alive can repeat the cycle (having that accident while on her way to the hospital with her somehow injured son) endlessly but every time for the first time.
