Raw unboned fish for dog?

I noticed at the start of the movie when Naru is in the tipi with her mother she cuts the head off a raw fish and gives the fish to her dog. I guess the dog doesn't mind parasites and tiny bones...

Agree. She should have gone to walmart and bought some royal canin for the poor pooch.

she gave it to the dog to throw it in the garbage.
