No way! That’s what many have said about nearly every previous sequel (not including the part about an icky cootie girl leading) and this new film’s trailers! Hell, but over the years many have said that this franchise should be taken back to its roots story wise! Icky little girl aside, take it back to the wild and keep it simple and stuff! You know what that means? Complainers gonna complain. Certain groups, especially the manbaby brigade, will always hate no matter what.
But yes O intellectual one, we know the likes of you+every other kewl detractor up here could come up with something much better. Yes, these hacks making this stuff in woke dokey Hollywood today (what?! LOL, are you really trying to convince us that you actually liked this movie, or are you trying to convince yourself? I suspect the latter.
It's not a good film. Amber Midthunder is not at all a credible lead and her defeating the Predator is just not believable. The pacing is slow and boredom-inducing. The use of the Evil White Man trope is lazy and hackneyed.
About the only good thing you can say about the film is that it looks nice. I will give it that.
All in all, a significant step down for Dan Trachtenberg after 10 Cloverfield Lane.

And if you can't see this is a very poorly executed movie (16-year-old girl battles elk, grizzlies and intergalactic hunters, is better at it than dozens of experienced grown men. Really?) then I would advise you to find another hobby. Maybe collecting superhero dolls is more on your intellectual level.
Anyway, the Predator people have announced they won't be revisiting planet Earth anytime soon.
They could accept occasional defeats by 240 pound guerrilla specialists, but by tiny sixteen-year-old girls now?
