Comanche Nation and Europeans in 1720

The studio says it is set 300 years ago. In the trailer at 1:50 I see what appear to be fur traders.

Wikipedia says New Spain did not go that far north. I searched the tribes mentioned in the Comanche article in the Fur Trade article and found nothing. There just isn't enough information to determine the location and who the Euros were. I'm guessing French but where?

No one cares dude. This is like those trivia entries listed as bloopers where the calibre of some obscure weapon is shown differently than in reality.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT THAT LEVEL OF DETAIL!

Whether they are French or Spanish is very important. The French needed to get along with native trappers.

I'd guess French as well. When you look at the early maps it's surprising how much of N. America was held, or at least claimed, by France.
