This was just unbelievably bad, what was he thinking?

25 films to his credit since 2000, 2 TV shows, one he produces, 8 new films in development, 2 out this year, and he makes Spread? WTF? This film is so bad, it's a potential career wrecker, it's clear he didn't do it for money, so why did he do it? Is it really that hard to tell a bad script, is it really that hard to tell it's bad when you are making it, how about when you edit?

The only thing I can think of is, when you get to a certain status in Hollywood, no matter how you got there, you are not blamed for, or hurt by, starring in a really awful film. It may be one of the few industries in the world where that is true, where failure and bad decisions is not hurtful, perhaps politics is the only other one.

I thought it was bad too and I really like all the actors involved... I think they had the makings of a good movie but I just never cared about the characters-maybe its just me...

yeah I was depressed when I sat thru
but
I gotta shay
when You've lived a certain way with a certain set of the peeps around u
U might start 2 listen 2 them & like I don't know believe them

losing all contact with the reality that tells U what the like others out there might think about something

also I think he identifies with the peeps in the scenes

it's so so so like Courtney Love in that movie about that tit mag man
not what you'd call a streatchies of the talent
