Great CGI and good visuals and cinematography. It was good sci-fi movie. But and Empty movie
Overall I enjoyed it. But only because I love all sci-fi and would watch anything. They don't make them many so we have to root them to succeed even if they are bad. Otherwise Hollywood will not make them at all.
But overall vibe and script was weird.
Those "Saint AI" were just ridiculous. It took me out of movie.
Movie tried to show us that humans were bad and AI were just harmless little puppies who were falsely blamed for that nuclear blast. And its just not. Robots will take over the world and end humanity. Easily. So those military were right.
And honestly they didn't care about shooting robots because for them robots are machines and they view them as we view cockroaches or termites. You don't care about their feelings when you exterminate them.
Yet movie forced us to sit and root for robots to end humanity, basically. No, they are not gonna blast that ship and then live their lives with harmony of nature. They would go full Skynet on humans.
The whole portrayal of robots like they are some Buddhists in Tibet.... Felt like it was written by naive 21 years old student of Harvard. But it was actually written by two 50 years old dudes. LOL.
So in this future robots being made by humans to mimic humans to every detail. Why? What was the point? They dress like humans, eat like humans, sleep like humans, they even shoot like humans who never held a gun. Despite having... you know.. computer. Which mean they can aim precisely. But Denzel son shot out all of the robots in that flat. Like 10 of them. A freaking POLICE ROBOTS! LOL.
