STEVE HOWEY REMINDED ME OF...

...a tamer version of Jason "Jay" Mewes, anyone agree? Especially during the strip club scene...reminded a of that same kind of part in Dogma. I actually liked the movie, thought it was really funny. But there is one thing I'm disappointed at. When they were running through the house near the end of the movie, I half-expected them to run into something spoofing Saw 2, as that would've just been extra icing on the cake. But, oh well. The shark coming out of the water behind door #1 was just as good.

Oh my God, they killed Kenny!!
You bastards!!

I thought he was Ashton Kutcher.

reply

Gotta agree... he looked a whole lot like Ashton Kutcher

I think Howey did a pretty good job. This movie was well-cast.

He reminded me of Ryan Reynolds, who BTW reminds me of Chevy Chase.

reply

Yeah, ur right, some of his facial expressions were just like Reynolds!

When I saw the cover of the DVD, at first I thought he was Ashton, but then at a second look, I thought he was the dude the played Rory on Final Destination 2. LOL. It wasn't until the movie started playing and I heard his voice that I realized it was Steve Howey. LOL.

He reminded me of that guy on "Reba". I believe that character's name was Van, kinda funny.

reply

He IS that guy on Reba.

reply

A mix between Hayden Christensen and Jason Mewes maybe.

reply

I saw the poster and thought it was the dude from Boondock Saints - Norman Reedus. But then I retracted that thought because Steve Howey looked much younger.

reply

he reminds me of Stehanie Weir from Mad TV especially something about his mouth/smile

reply

Heh, and here I was thinking he looked like a cheap knockoff of Jack Sparrow

Timothy Olyphant, but he looks younger, like a little brother maybe.

I thought the movie was ok, silly stupid fun, and entertaining enough to waste 90 mins or so.

Agreed... in this he does look like a younger Timothy Olyphant, :)

The movie wasn't great, but what spoof really is? If you people seriously expected this to be a great movie, you need to find other hobbies... it is a spoof and is meant to be laughed at for lack of quality...
