New narrator sucks

I understand Peter Thomas passed away and they needed to recast him, but Bill Camp is terrible. His delivery is goofy and campy (fitting last name). He almost sounds like a parody from South Park, or maybe he’s trying to channel serial shows from the 50’s and 60’s. His enunciation of certain words is also bizzare, as if he’s impersonating William Shatner or something. I’m not sure if he’s buddies with the creators or what, but I have a hard time understanding why he was hired. There are plenty of people who could be worthy successors to Peter Thomas, and Bill Camp is far from it. The show has been nearly unwatchable due to the cheesy narration.

same here. I got through 10 mins and quit in honor of Thomas. Camp has a stylized True Crime-y thing about his delivery when straight and clinical works better. The woman who did the autopsy show on HBO was good too. They need someone like the guy who does Frontline on PBS.

Agreed. I do like the Frontline guy´s voice too.

He sounds drunk. It might help if the guy just used his real voice. Or maybe he does already, I don't know.

Sad thing is Bill Camp is a good narrator, he just sucks on FFII.
