A Goode Game of Chicken

I thought it did show how we liberals and conservatives could ultimately work with each other for common good---and even end up being the best of buds in the process.


Gerald initially sees a resturant owner as a 'bad man' for having used chicken meat in his chili. The resturant owner does not consider birds to be 'meat' so he had described it as meatless chilli

Things aren't helped when there is confusion over whose dog is whose.

So the Goode's have to test their principles by entering the chili cook-off this meat eater's never won--to win the dog. They're scandalized to be around other meat eaters.

Fortunately, they ARE able to win in his name, successfully resolving all issues.
