Thanks to ABC's broken streaming. Intrusive commercials, memory hogging app that crashes every 3 minutes, yeesh.

Why didn't they just let Hulu do the streaming for them?

Yeah I agree... ABC's application isn't great. The picture even in 'HD mode' is terrible until the show buffers... but it never really does. I have NO problems with hulu....

Agreed about ABC's media player. That thing is the pits.

I agree completely. My computer is very new--I just got it last week--but I had all kinds of problems. The thing froze in the middle of the show for no apparent reason. I clicked around until I got the video back, but then I couldn't put it in full screen mode. It also lags after each advertisement. On top of all that, there's the nuisance of having to install the application and click on the "continue" button after each ad.

YouTube and Hulu have figured out how to provide Internet video. Why can't ABC?

You may want to try a different browser. I tried it in Firefox and it wouldn't work. Then I tried it in IE and it worked.

That's a good point. Each browser has it's quirks. If a certain piece of software is written, say, to take advantage of some of IE's non-standard 'quirks' or "features" (as Microsoft calls them) it may not function the same on a more standard compliant browser like firefox. I suggest trying safrai or even google chrome to find the best browser. It also helps, if you are like me an leave your browser program running for weeks on end... you ought to restart the program before trying to watch something. Web browsers bloat REAL bad (Firefox in particular).... I've seen firefox using over a gig of RAM before... I guess it doesn't garbage collect well, because the only way I've found to reclaim that RAM is to close firefox and re-open it.

It's fine on my cpu

Hmmm...watching it right now, no problems.

Commercials? That's what the "mute" button on your computer is for. REad your e-mail until the show comes back.

Horrible show, but try sidereel.com they have links to tons of streaming shows.
