You said it yourself... It had 3 episodes. Each one saw plummeting ratings from the already very poor ratings of the pilot. I'm not sure how many more chances ANY station can really afford to give this show. I mean, this show really does have spectacularly bad ratings. (Not that I can explain why, because it's not 'that bad', but it is what it is.) To put it in perspective... It did significantly worse that even "sit down shut up" the recently pulled FOX animated series that was moved after only 2 episodes, and pulled after only 4... Yeah... "Sit Down" was getting BETTER ratings that The Goode Family. That the Goode family will air next week is due to them giving it a 'chance' in spite of what the ratings (some of the worst ever for ABC on a Friday at 8:30) are telling them about the popularity and future profitability of the show.
