What are all the parallels?

- They drive a hybird
- Yard is completely unkept
- Anti football (for the most part)
- Daughter has nightmares of being stuck at junior college forever

I kind of see it from the perspective of Beavis and Butthead. King of the Hill was basically a show about Mr. Anderson. The Goode Family is basically a show about Van Driesen.

Hank: hyper competitive. Known to get involved in competitions even when he thinks they're silly (dog dancing, rose gardening)

Gerald: no sense of competition.

If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.
