Best docudrama on Watergate yet

Watergate was far more complicated than All the President’s Men would have you believe. Instead of 2 hours, we get a whole mini series. It’s all here, folks! The Mitchells, the Deans, McCord, Haldemann, Erlichman, Hunt, the break-in, the guard, the Cubans, the FBI, and the lunacy that is G. Gordon Liddy. It took a mini series to do it right. This is a ten.

Aside from a few vignettes here and there I didn't like it. The whole think about "the guard" totally unnecessary. I was expecting something different. I know the story well I didn't need the nonsense.
And why so vulgar? How many times can you hear the F-word before it sounds stupid.

Eh, that’s how people talk. Apparently Nixon shot out a F-word as often as LBJ did. The thing I didn’t like was making DC look like a shithole. Literally in one shot. That’s my home town! I took offense. But nan, wasn’t Shea Whigham good at Liddy?

I liked the first 4 episodes, but starting with episode #5 I think it really began to drag. And i agree, who gives a *** about the dating life of the security guard? I liked Julia Roberts in it, and Shea Whigham as Liddy was good. But overall, I give it a 6/10.
