New Twitchfilm review

Massively disappointing and really pretty hopeless in every respect. The biggest letdown of Frightfest (that I saw) and a shambles to say the least with a terrible over reliance on CGI gore. There are some set pieces supposed to wow you but they're totally inept and, as you say, no character development whatsoever. As with most films where there are bad guys bickering with other bad guys (both highly unlikeable), you just don't care and so the action better make up for it. But it doesn't. The most boring zombie/crazy movie in memory...

Actually, these kind of reviews are quite useful, indeed. Whenever I read something like: "great character development, deep romantic involment and intricate plot.." all I can think is: another boring chick film that I better avoid like the plague. Instead, everytime that a snob critic belittle a film, like this guy from twitchfilm.net, I'm pretty sure it will be a good movie to enjoy. Even more if it's a zombie film.
