I agree for every other subject that something new and refreshing it's a good improve, but for zombie flicks it's simple: zombies, good make up and more zombies. But no they want every time to make something different that ruin the concept. Now they build a gangster story as an action movie. No horror here, really.Except maybe the scene with the cop on the car there wasn't one scarry moment. And the camera move was terrible not to say about make up, cheap and bad.No scarry eyes no dead flesh only blood. And maybe 7-10 minutes of zombies in all the movie. Every new zombie movie miss the point : scarry zombies, and slow camera shot, not fast and action type. And really good make up.I don't know how but it's really hard to find a good zombie movie. For "hardcore" zombie fans don't watch this one.Watch again Dawn of the Dead or 28 days later, at least you dont lose your time.

Yeah right, I don't know where you come from, but you don't seem to know what you're talking about.

Having zombies as a plot device doesn't automatically mean that you have to do a certain kind of a movie (There are zombie movies with thriller, horror, comedy and even romance elements), but this movie worked as a classic zombie movie, which is an action packed thriller.
7-10 minutes of zombies in all the movie.
Well gee boy-oh, I don't think we were watching the same movie.
Every new zombie movie miss the point : scarry zombies, and slow camera shot, not fast and action type.
Zombie movies in general don't use "scarry eyes" and slow camera work because zombie movies in general aren't slow horror movies.
Besides the whole gangsters and cops theme brought the movie more diversed character interaction than the typical clichéd zombie movie cast.
For "hardcore" zombie fans don't watch this one.Watch again Dawn of the Dead or 28 days later, at least you dont lose your time.
Hell even Dawn Of The Dead and 28 Days Later weren't how you describe zombie movies, both had relatively fast camera work etc.
For hardcore zombie fans, watch this movie. It's got awesome special effects, loads of brutal violence, shooting, gore and zombies. In other words, I don't think you're an actual "zombie fan".
What clichés? Thats a word the wannabe critics use when they want to whinge.
i'm gonna be nice since you didn't insult me like the other fxxxer. This is my opinion, that is your opinion, that's why i like white and you like red. and i am a zombie fan since i watch em all. From b movies to a movies but this is what i don't like, a B movie trying to be an A movie. And the camera in dawn of the dead or 28 days later, well let me tell you that americans know to shoot a fast camera scene, as you said, more correctly Handheld Camera, hand shot.Europe suxx big time at this type of shooting, just watch the camera movement from Rec and Quarantine. And i'm from Europe. So i love every scene and every shot and every frame of 28 days later(brittish are as good as americans at directing skills) and Dawn of the Dead, that was smart hand shot. The fact that you don't think i am a zombie fan it's not relevant since i know i love zombie movies. And i am sick of smart movies like this one, trying to make something different in zombie world.I just want to see a classic zombie movie, made with modern effects, like Dawn of the dead the remake. That'was a zombie movie. The tension was just great, i was pretty scared every second of that movie. And like Dead Set wich was in the style of zombie movies. See gee boy, when a man post it's usually because it's HIS opinion, you can insult or tell them NOT to have that opinion or that they don't know *beep* because they have it. And believe me that is the stupidity of modern thinking :let's shot it fast and action type, it's COOL.Remember how you use to be scared by a long, calm shot, in Shining? That was horror.
Rage Virus= Never, ever zombies. If they're considered alive and breathing then they cannot be zombies.
With that said, you are dumb dumb for saying that 28 Days is a zombie flick. Dont get me wrong (although you must likely will), 28 is an awesome movie, but I'd consider it more of a consequences of Peta or something.
And dude, just because you didnt like this movie dont ever think you can think for everyone. I liked this movie and I consider myself something of a zombienut (yes, they should me slow moving etc. but that just cant work with the today's average moviegoer attention span.
28 days later it's a zombie movie. And you are so dumb to say outloud that it's not.So dumb dumb dumb(if we insult each other i know to say dumb too) And stupid too. Fuxxx asxxxx It's even on wikipedia, at modern zombie horror movies, you fucxxn ASSXXX. How the *beep* can you say you know zombie movies and say that 28 days later it's not a zombie movie?Even more, you insulted me with this believe. You bothered to post and insult me thinking that you are quite smarter than me but boy you screw it up.
I have to disagree, Hendi. I think the 28 Days/Weeks franchise suffers from not enough zombies but this one doesn't have that problem. The zombies were the fast variety with a few extras (like lotsa sharp teeth) and the transformation sequence hints that this isn't the typical zombie business either--it looked like something was taking possession of the forms violently.
I jumped several times and the tension was pretty high throughout. That first attack was chilling!
