Going to be one of the best zombie movies to date

I just have a feeling! Foreign horror movies are getting better as they're made (obviously still a few crap ones) What was the last Decent zombie movie? I would say 'REC' - A Foreign made movie. The plot of 'The Horde' sounds a little similar to REC, But I think The Horde is going to be a hit.

So it's about 4 corrupt cops who go on a rampage in a mobs hideout when one of their friends is killed by ruthless gangsters, but they become trapped in the hideout infested with zombies and the cops are forced to work toegther with the gangsters in order to survive?. Anyone else have high hopes for this?

'THE Smackdown Hardcore Legend'

*Remember, its JUST a MOVIE*

Totally agree. Since REC and REC II, I haven't watched another zombie movie as cool as The Horde. Sure, the plot is kinda plain, but the movie itself is just awesome: plenty of zombie killing, and there are some memorable scenes: I'm sure the one in the basement parking, is gonna become a classic in the zombie genre: Being surrounded by countless zombies, standing on a car, firing until you have no ammo, then hacking away anything that comes at you..only to be overrunned by dozens of zombies arms!!! Now that's what I'd call the best zombie scene ever filmed!

The premise was pretty sweet, the execution quite poor.

Tedious dialogue, poorly filmed and all characters behaving like complete idiots.

And since when does zombie breath fog up windows ?

I loved every minute of this film but I was a bit gutted at the end it wasn't how I would have ended it. Heres hoping for a sequel

Really hated this film, although it was marginally better than [REC] 2.

I absolutely loved the first [REC] by the way...

I think anyone who didn't enjoy this film *is* a zombie!

It was consistently enjoyable and exciting throughout the whole film.

"Waaah waahh - the characters were all unlikable."

You fools! That's why I liked them! :-D

I think it is.

Of the zombie movies that have come out in the last decade, this gave me more of what I want from the genre. Namely, zombies eating people and being scary. I loved the Selina character in 28 Days and I liked that there was socio-political commentary a la Romero but I didn't like that the zombie action was so little (nor that they weren't really zombies but really fragged off, mindless people that were easily dispatched).

This had a very cool score, unexplained genesis, plenty of room for hypotheticals and sequels, interesting characters, and a whole lot of scary groty zombies.

Loved it!

humm, foreign horror movies...

japanese stuff like the ring and all others alike is very boring for me, not scary and ofcourse, most of the actors look alike

REC and REC2 - I erased both of my memory cuz it really doesnt push any bottons for me, except for 'hey they're spanish! thats different!' the rest was below average

La horde - who cares? just watch the killings and FF

so although i dont think american horror movies are sacred I still think people only care about these foreign movies because they're foreign... because if they were american it would just be the same old story...

... it seems that a cliché wont look like a cliché if it happens in another environment... and people like that
