Seems like he should've been drawing a nice paycheck from Netflix for all them there years they were filming him!

Joe is a terrible businessman with some great ideas. With a great businessman as a partner he could have done very very well. Too bad.
They didn't pay him anything. The reality was Joe was a complete idiot when it came to business. Remember he signed a deal with the guy that was there video taping everything and Joe had no control of that footage or any interest in it. He was a complete idiot. Given the number of animals he had, and his ability to get free food from stores to feed them I'm just at a loss as to how this idiot could have been so hard up for money. Even a slightly below average business guy could have turned his stuff into a nice business but he was just an incompetent idiot.
shareWell remember at the beginning of the series, it was said that Joe filmed EVERYTHING. Whether it was through that ex-reporter guy or whatever, it was all in-house recording.
As for him being broke...that million bucks he owed to Carol FUCKEN Baskens probably didn't help much. And on that note...can't believe he'd be so stupid as to copy the stuff of his sworn enemy and think he'd somehow get away with it...talk about throwing yourself to the wolves there...yikes.
