Absolutely unique

People say they are tired of sequels and the same old Hollywood stuff?

Well, just give them a copy of this.

It has somehow blended a dozen different genres, styles, and decades into a single film. Will you like it? Look, it all depends on how willing you are to completely suspend your disbelief as well as your expectations for what you are used to seeing in a film.

It is alot more like some kind of play that they filmed, than a standard movie. Everything looks weird and strange, the sets, the clothing, the music, and on and on. You can connect with the characters emotions, because the actors are brilliant, but everything else - the lighting, the sets, the shadows, the cinematography, the costumes, the props, is probably going to be foreign.

What about the story? Ahh, well, at the least, here, we have some good guys and some bad guys. It is made quite clear which is which, very early on.

Someone else noted the 'philosophy' of the film is unclear. Well, I have to agree.. the film is sprinkled with strange and interesting narration, but the end is out of an 80s movie like Die Hard. Except..... except for the bar tender. But I wanted to know more about him and Alexandra, I wanted to see more of their relationship and his thoughts of her and their past.
