Normally I oppose remakes but the story in this one made much more sense

The reason why he killed the kids in the remake was much more logical than the reason he killed them in the originals.

In the original, the parents killed Freddy, so he came back to seek vengeance on their children, which really makes no sense. If anything, he would come back to seek vengeance on the parents and kill them.

In this one, the kids tattled on him so he came back to seek revenge on them. That is a much more reasonable explanation.

I don't see why the original doesn't make sense.

There can be no worse pain than losing a child. Most parents would rather die themselves than have their child murdered. Killing the child is revenge to the parent. Worse than anything he could do to them personally.

wrong in the original he was a child murderer and had killed over 20 children. it was originally going to be that he was a pedophile who not only raped but murdered children. but there was a pedophilia case going on so out of respect he changed it.

but anyways like i was saying the killing of the children was what he liked to do. not adults so he killed their children as not only revenge but because children are easier to drive to fear
