Where the *beep* is the remake for the second one?

It's been 5 years since this movie came out. I'm waiting for the remake. Make something cool, better bigger, scarier! No *beep* characters. Character development needs to be better. The teenagers need some more backstory and better connections to Freddy. There's need to be more creative things in the next one too. Fans would agree with this one. Plus if Robert Englund made an appearance like a teenagers father or something. That would be cool.

Freddy is dead. There's no way we will get a remake

reply

Heh, you really think that Freddy's... dead?

reply

I just think Hollywood just isn't checking for the classic horror villains anymore. Annabel gets a wide release yet chucky gets a straight to dvd.

How disrespectful is that!

reply

^ I second that ! Beside Jason we wont get more films of 80's bogeyman coming soon...

reply

That's probably because Texas Chainsaw 3D tanked at the box office, but we are getting Halloween Returns next year.

reply

I never knew about Halloween returns...but to be fair the last Haloween film I enjoyed was H20 and I still believe it would have been the perfect ending to the Franchise...But I will still check that one out...

reply

Jonathan, do you mean a remake of Freddy's Revenge?

reply

Freddy's Revenge had the same problem as all the sequels did, a good concept not executed well.

^I agree but it still had that one kick ass scene were Fredy comes out of the kid's inside. That awesome scene was the film saving grace.

reply

Really? That scene looks horribly fake by today's standards.

reply

Not enough high demand for a sequel, if we ever see a film with Freddy again it will be another reboot because the original series ran its course and Englund is too old now, at least he says so anyway.

reply

cool, better bigger,

vague

i'd say gritty, low budget, NO CGI, filmed on celluloid, no lame mtv actors or director , no platimum dunes
more shadows, less source music, minmal score and thats assuming we need another damn remake of a classic

check yourself before you wreck yourself BOI!!
